Content Strategy

We’ve created three homepage layouts to make it easy to switch out content depending on the season. These include:

  • May Commencement Home
  • May Commencement Livestream Home
  • December Recognition Home
  • December Recognition Livestream Home
  • Off Season Home

How to update the homepage

  1. Navigate to the Pages section of the dashboard and search for the homepage (referenced in list above) you would like to go live
  2. Find the name of the page you wish to edit from the list of pages and select Edit below the page name
  3. Once in the Page Editor, make any necessary text, link, or photo updates that are needed.
  4. You can click Save draft on the top right of the screen to save edits without making the page go live
    • When previewing edits when the page is not set as the homepage, the page title bar will appear at the top of the page. This will not show when the page is set as the homepage.
  5. When you are ready to make the page go live, click on the Publish button on the top right of the screen.
  6. Navigate back to the dashboard, and from the side navigation, select Appearance > Customize.
  7. From the side menu, select Homepage Settings and from the drop down menu under Homepage, select the page you would like to go live.
  8. Click on Publish at the top of the menu, to set the page as the new homepage.
  9. Navigate back to the Pages section of the dashboard, and search for the page that is no longer set as the homepage.
  10. Select Edit below the page name
  11. From the Settings panel (icon next to Save button), change the Status to Draft
  12. Click Save on the top right of the screen

How to update livestream

  1. Add the following code to page in HTML block (if not already added to page)
