Components of a line chart

There are five components:

  1. Chart Heading
  2. Chart Description (optional)
  3. Line label
  4. X-axis label
  5. Data fields

How to use a line chart

  1. Navigate to the place in the Page Editor where you want the chart to appear.
  2. Select Line Chart from the list of blocks.
  3. Start typing a Chart Heading.
  4. Click on the Chart Description area to add a description, if desired.
  5. Click on Add New Line Label for as many lines as needed for your chart. Label each line.
  6. Click on Add New X-axis Label for as many intervals as needed for your chart. Label each interval.
  7. Add Data in each field for each line at each interval.

Considerations

Avoid using line charts in columns as the narrow display makes content difficult to read as well as difficult to manage in the Page Editor.
