Pullquotes highlight a quote from the longer story or article on the same page for emphasis or dramatic effect. The quote does repeat elsewhere in the paragraph text of the story or article.
The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
How to add a Pullquote block
- Add a pullquote block to your page by clicking the + on the page and selecting the Pullquote block.
- Add text and citation. The citation field is optional in this block.
- We do not recommend adding quotation marks around the quotes in this block because the bar indicates the full statement.
- We recommend placing the pullquote block somewhere else on the page so that the repetition of this quote is not next to its use in the paragraphs of the story.
Pullquote block settings:
- Left or right-align the entire block by selecting the “change alignment” icon from the block’s top toolbar.

Please note: If you left- or right-align the pullquote block, the entire block floats to the side of the page, with surrounding text wrapping around it. This alignment is ideal if the pullquote duplicates a passage from the page, so the quote doesn’t interrupt the flow of the content.
