Text home feature<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

[tk content: is text home feature block here or on Doc Central] Within the Text Home Feature block,<\/a> the hero text<\/strong> and lead in text<\/strong> work together to send a clear message to site visitors about the vision for innovation at WashU and the purpose of this website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impact dashboard preview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This area displays highlights from the Innovation Impact Dashboard <\/strong>and encourages visitors to click through to view all the data in the impact dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This area uses the By the numbers block<\/a> with the previous fiscal year\u2019s data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To edit the red call to action<\/strong>, refer to the Button block tutorial.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Featured video<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of this block is to display a video spotlight with a call to action linking to OTM. At launch, this area uses the Wide media spotlight block<\/a> featuring the OTM video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To update the video, click anywhere within the block then navigate to the sidebar and paste the video\u2019s url in the field labeled YouTube or Vimeo video URL.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Button block<\/a> can be updated by clicking anywhere inside the button and making <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upcoming events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Any events that appear on the site are pulled in with the Happenings widget.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use this section to feature a particular sector. The call to action encourages visitors to click to a page that lists all the WashU startups and highlights in that sector. By including both highlights and startups, a visitor gets a sense of WashU\u2019s impact in these particular verticals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use this section to feature two or three highlights. The call to action encourages visitors to click to a page that lists all the innovation highlights<\/a> (news stories) that have been added to the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This section uses the Announcements block<\/a> to automatically display the latest three Announcements<\/a> published on the site in reverse chronological order. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
