{"id":56,"date":"2022-05-09T21:44:12","date_gmt":"2022-05-09T21:44:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digitaldocumentation.wustl.edu\/equity\/?page_id=56"},"modified":"2024-01-16T21:38:33","modified_gmt":"2024-01-16T21:38:33","slug":"event","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/digitaldocumentation.wustl.edu\/equity\/content-types\/event\/","title":{"rendered":"Event"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-lead\">The purpose of this content type is to highlight that there are things going on and to offer audiences timely opportunities for engagement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leveraging the Happenings widget will allow this site feature while minimizing effort from site admins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding events on the site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to <a href=\"https:\/\/happenings.wustl.edu\/\">Happenings<\/a> and log in with your wustl key<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <em>Submit an Event <\/em>in the right sidebar and complete the fields<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the event appears in your admin queue, approve it for the Happenings widget.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Happenings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Equity has been set up as an office in Happenings. With this designation, there will be a dedicated Equity landing page on the Happenings website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone with a wustl key can submit an event to Happenings labeled with the designated Innovation label. This adds the event to a queue that the admin can approve. Approval can be customized to designate events that display on the <em>Happenings Equity landing page<\/em> and events that are imported to the <em>Equity website home page<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/digitaldocumentation.wustl.edu\/equity\/content-types\/event\/happenings\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"342\">Happenings usage and support<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The purpose of this content type is to highlight that there are things going on and to offer audiences timely opportunities for engagement.
