A WordPress Person is a custom post type that stores associated information like someone’s name, email, phone, address, etc. in one record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To add a person’s profile to a website, you first need to create a record for that person. Do this by mousing over New<\/em> in the black admin bar of the site and pick Person<\/em> from the drop down options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Type the person’s name in the “Add Title” field.<\/li>
  2. Fill in all the First Name, Last name fields.<\/li>
  3. Fill in any other fields that you want displayed for this person.<\/li>
  4. In the right sidebar, select a Category<\/a> for this person, if applicable.<\/li>
  5. Also in the right sidebar, select or upload a feature image for this person.
    1. Consult the image best practices<\/a> when working with images.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Once a person’s record has been created, it can be displayed on any Page<\/a> or Post<\/a> using the People<\/a> block.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
