Post Category allow a site admin to manage which posts to display on any given Page or Post on a site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Categories<\/a> need to be used any time you want to display any less than every post<\/em> on the site. Create as many categories as you need, even if there is only one post in that category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to add a category<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. In the dashboard, mouse over Posts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Categories<\/strong> from the submenu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In the Add New Category<\/strong> screen, fill in the Name<\/strong> field.\n
      \n
    1. All other fields are optional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. If the new category needs to be a sub category, select the appropriate Parent Category<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click Add New Category <\/strong>at the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Posts will also need to be added to the new category or sub category for the new filters to show up in the block. See below<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      How to add a post to a category<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
