The purpose of this content type is to highlight that there are things going on and to offer audiences timely opportunities for engagement.
Leveraging the Happenings widget will allow this site feature while minimizing effort from site admins.
Adding events on the site

- Navigate to Happenings and log in with your wustl key
- Select Submit an Event in the right sidebar and complete the fields
- Once the event appears in your admin queue, approve it for the Happenings widget.
Happenings
Innovation has been set up as an office in Happenings. With this designation, there will be a dedicated Innovation landing page on the Happenings website.
Anyone with a wustl key can submit an event to Happenings labeled with the designated Innovation label. This adds the event to a queue that the admin can approve. Approval can be customized to designate events that display on the Happenings Innovation landing page and events that are imported to the Innovation website home page.
