This block is specifically designed for one use only: the top of the Student Affairs website home page.

Placement of this block should not change after launch but the content (image and text) within the block can be edited.

How to edit this block

  1. Click anywhere inside to block to activate it.
  2. Click on the text you want to edit and type any changes to the headline, description text, and call to action.
  3. To change the image, click on the pencil icon at the top right corner of the image
  4. Select from the media library or upload an image from the pre-approved Student Affairs image collection
  5. Navigate to the sidebar and under “link,” edit the target url that corresponds to the call to action text.
  6. Click update in the page editor to save your changes.

Notes and recommendations

  • The image is always displayed in 16:9 ratio. The recommend image size is 1716x966px.
  • The image should come from the collection of approved images—that reflect the marketing goals of the division.
  • Any students featured should be fully vetted as in good standing.
  • If possible, select an image with red as a dominant color to work with the green background to best reinforce WashU branding.
