The Event Hub is managed through the Event Management System within SA Tools.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>WordPress and SA tools work in tandem with one another, so changes to an event on the Event Hub is synchronized across all WordPress sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to upload an event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All events are uploaded and managed via SA tools. Contact your <a href=\"https:\/\/students.washu.edu\/about\/for-staff\/marketing-communications\/marcomm-department-contacts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MarComm project manager<\/a> to embed the Event Hub on your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Featured event<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Featured Event Block is available within WordPress to highlight specific upcoming events on your departments homepage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How to add a Featured Event Block:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to the Block Inserter section by selecting the blue <strong>&#8220;+&#8221; button <\/strong>on the top left sidebar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select &#8220;<strong>Featured Event\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the right sidebar, add the event name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the right sidebar, add the event URL. Use the event URL generated by the Event Hub.\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\">\n<li>Navigate to the Event Hub, select the event posting, select Add\/Share, select &#8220;copy event link&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the right sidebar, add the event start time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the right sidebar, add the event end time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Save<\/strong> on the upper right corner<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Event Hub is the digital integration platform used to manage and coordinate all events\/programming within the Division of Student Success.
