To edit the red call to action, refer to the Button block tutorial. This is styled in the text with arrow style.
Our commitment
The purpose of this block is to highlight the three commitments WashU is focused on for the St. Louis region. At launch, this area uses heading block, followed by the column block in 33/33/33 ratio so that one column holds the name and brief description of each commitment.
Finally, the section ends with a button block styled in the text with arrow style.
Anthem video
The anthem video is displayed on the page using a Youtube block to embed the video player. This can be changed by altering the URL within the block. Below the video is a paragraph block of text to give context to the video as well as a button block with the text with arrow style that leads to the About page for users to learn more.
Featured initiative
The featured initiative section uses the wide media spotlight block to elevate one of the initiatives on the site. The information is updated manually.
Our regional impact
This section uses By the Number blocks in columns to highlight statistics about WashU’s impact on the region. These can be edited by updating the numbers and text as new data becomes available. The section ends with a button styled as text with arrow that connects to the “Our Impact” page.
Stay in touch callout
This section uses the Callout block to help users sign up for the St. Louis Initiatives team newsletter.
Community events
This section uses to Group block to group several blocks. Within the group, there is an H2 header for the section. Below is a column block with a 66/33 ratio.
A second header (h6) labels the Upcoming events section on the left. The Events list block is below that. This section ends with a button block as text with arrow that is right justified to view all events.
In the right (33) column, a square photo spotlight block acts as a call to action for users to submit their event.
Latest news
Use this section to feature the latest news. It is set off with the section heading with link block.
This section uses the Clips block to automatically display the latest 2-3 highlights published on the site. For more details, consult the Clip block tutorial.
